Margie Cox sings in that group - she's the singer on the left in the Maynard video. Melanie Rosales is on the right next to Doug. They were all part of the TC Jammers also back in the 70s. Melanie Rosales married Steve Raitt, Bonnies brother, who put out a lot of great sound in the Twin Cities back then. I'll ask Margie if she knows about the roots of the song.
