Nice ending, but I'm missing a detail: where did the canoe go? On the bus? on the train? I lost my father 11 years ago. But he's still very present for me, still can hear his voice. I hope you have a similar experience.
My brother and nephew drove from Houston, and we loaded it up on his vehicle. We drove it down to New Orleans. Funny to be driving around the French Quarter with a canoe on top. They took it back to Houston. So it stays in the family.
That was an amazing boat. Exceeded my expectations in every way.
