You walked us all through a difficult time for you with grace, sorrow, and beauty in your writing. My hearts' condolences to you and your family. As commenters wrote, this is indeed a moving, and loving, tribute to a beautiful soul.
Beautiful. Hard to type with the tears running down my face but wanted to thank you for sharing this experience in such a thoughtful and open way. It’s such a moving tribute to a sweet soul.
Thanks for the kind words, Adam. And thanks for the music you share. Incidentally, on your last release, I immediately confused Charles Owens (from Richmond) with the great LA treasure Charles Owens, who I first heard on John Mayall's 1972 Movin' On. I gotta get out of the house more...
Heard the devastating news via Shaun Williams and Steve Epling. Gripping hands, classmate. Truly exceptional words on a nearly unimaginable grief. There is simply nothing worse than losing a child -- at whatever age. Thoughts, prayers and condolences for your entire family. Hope your many awesome memories of him can be of comfort, throughout your prolonged grief.
Tyler, this is a beautifully written piece that honors your son and the love of those who raised and knew him. Thank you for being willing to share it with all of us.
While I cannot speak for God, you are more than worthy. Already, you are helping others via this incredibly thoughtful composition. So well done. Wishing you and your loved ones peace.
A beautifully simple and human piece on the bewilderment of loss. My Dad passed away a couple of weeks ago and I'm still working through my feelings and emotions....and seeking to honour his passing by searching for the positive. Music will surely be helping me along this new path. Wishing you and your family strength and peace x

This is the most beautiful tribute I have ever read. I don't know how you did it. Take care.
