I consider myself lucky in that about 3 seconds into the first free jazz I ever heard, I realized I had found what I hadn't been looking for. The multitude of coworkers who asked me to keep my office door closed simply had poor musical taste. In his later years my Dad was fond of saying " Nothing good happens after midnight."
