Tyler, what an extraordinary day. I'm so pleased you got to Stamford Bridge and were able to be there for your son.
Also, that you had such a great time in three of this city's best record shops.I'll share this post with John at Atlantis, I know he'll love to read it
Thanks for the loving note, Marie. He was indeed a blessing to all who knew him. We all miss him dearly but are vigilant for his presence along our journeys.
Tyler, that is such an amazing story and wonderful way to share a day with Maclane. Was eager to hear the story on Saturday, but it was worth the wait to hear you tell it through your post.
Thanks, Dan. I will always remember our trip to the BWCA with Maclane. It was hard on him, but he loved it and spoke about it often. He would often stop paddling and just look at the beauty around him. Dumbfounded. I could feel his peace.
One of my best trips ever. It was truly special out on Gillis fishing for lake trout with him. He told me all about soccer, the Michigan cabin, Jackie. He had really heart warming stories, especially about you and Diane.
Oh Tyler …I just talked to Diane this morning . We talked about life and grief …the proof of long lasting love . She sent me this amazing adventure …with Maclane on your shoulder guiding you until the end . My heart is so happy to know He Is flying high and at peace . Love you All ….Christy
Thanks, Christy. It truly has been sad and beautiful. I keep Frankl's quote nearby: "If there is meaning in life at all, then there must be meaning in suffering."
